Hey veryone!
I had a really interesting, exciting September month.
Firstly I've been accepted to do Performing Arts, Music and Dance in a new high school, at the other side of the city, which I'm really happy!!
I wasn't really sure if I wanted to do this in the future but if you never try you'll never know. The only thing I knew was that I loved everything that had to do with performing arts and music. I didn't know if I was good in performing arts or not, but my desire to just DO IT, made me take that choice.
I asked God for help and for the right decision. And in fact, it was!
Starting 1st term , 2nd week of school, my teacher of Interpretation(performing arts) asked me and some ohers of my class (that had a high level of english)if we wanted to participate in a theater workshop, collaborated by Kevin Spacey Foundation. I thought ok ...why not?
That was a really big opportunity to get to know a really popular actor(which I didn't know at first )
and to learn more about this fantastic art. So I had to write a letter to get into it, cause only 60 young students could be accepted and there were about 400 who wanted to get in it.
I said to my self....ok if it's God's will, I will get in this whole thing
And...YES! I got it!!
It was an AMAZING, unforgettable experience. I learned so many new things !!
It was a 3 hour workshop, and at the end they recorded what we had learned, representing a little piece of Richard III.
In the afternoon we went to see for FREE Kevin Spacey playing in his role of Richard III(the act was spoken in old English). And after that, Kevin Spacey himself was in front of us, answering the questions that we asked him.
